This late bar feels like a cross between an airport terminal and a club. Its music and crowd are decidedly mainstream and it seems to strive to be a place to have a drink, a dance, and maybe a dalliance. On those levels it succeeds well. Also, those big leather chairs by the window are undeniably comfortable. It’s surprisingly relaxed on some weeknights, buzzing with atmosphere (and loud pop music) on others. The punters are generally in their early twenties and dancefloor will be full by the end of the night. Q Bar works well on weekends for those who like their pub and club in the same building.
