Just off the seafront in the town of Dun Laoghaire in South County Dublin is this formal Victorian-style park dating from the late 19th Century. It has a fenced playground, a garden for blind people and two impressive cast iron fountains. The restored Victorian Shelter is now the Park Tea Rooms, and the bandstand has original gaslight standards. It's a great place to sit and relax after a walk out to the pier or around the scenic harbour. On Sundays there is a Farmers' Market where all kinds of organic and delicious food can be bought.
