Letea Forest is the oldest protected area in Romania, being established in 1938. In this place you will find the tropical creeper Periploca graeca which gives off a subtropical feeling. Beside that plant, you will be able to see liana, wild vine, top plant and ivy. Regarding trees, here you will find a lot of species such as poplar, elm tree, silver lime and common alder.
