If you go north, following the Danish coast, you will eventually end up in Helsingør, also known as Elsinore, the town that William Shakespeare had in mind when he wrote his most famous tragedy, Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. From Helsingør there is a ferry to Helsingborg, a Swedish town, from across the sea. The town has a long history, but the Helsingør we know today was founded in 1420s.
