Surrounded by the beautiful Frederiksberg Gardens, stands the magnificent Frederiksberg Palace. They are both located in Copenhagen's district called (you'd never guess) Frederiksberg. The palace has a distinctive yellow colour, and was built in 1700s in Italian style. It was used by the Danish Royal Family until 1852, and from 1869 by the Royal Danish Army Officers Academy.
