A very German affair indeed, Haus Zims is an unpretentious restaurant that attracts a good number of locals as well as tourists, thanks in part to its relaxed and cheerful staff and not least because of the heart attack-inducing food on offer. The reasonably priced menu includes the standard roll call of schnitzel, sausages and sauerkraut, the fearsome Farmer’s Pan (pork chop, bacon and grilled sausage) and a few exotic surprises including ostrich and a highly commendable wine list.
