One of the most iconic and recognisable buildings in Cardiff, the Pierhead Building was built way back in 1897 and initially served as the headquarters for the Bute Dock Company. The purpose of the building is secondary to its architecture, a little slice of French Gothic Renaissance magic on the Cardiff Bay.
