The Cape Town Conservatorium in the Company's Gardens
A little (well, not so little) treasure trove of trinkets is this. The Iziko Company’s Garden was established back in the 17th century and expertly combines that vitality of the natural world with museums, galleries and restaurants. A stroll through the garden is about as peaceful as Cape Town gets, an amble that is accentuated by some unique flora and the occasional cheeky little beast. Be sure to check out the South African Museum and the National Gallery, both of which are hiding in the garden. The oldest cultivated pear tree in South Africa too.
