Cádiz is the sort of place that understands the fact that somewhere can be exclusive and inclusive at the same time, and La Tabernita ticks that box. A mini-bar at the top of Calle Virgen de la Palma, this is a tiny tapas spot that is all about social eating in an intimate environment, food for ordinary people who want to enjoy themselves. It really is tiny, so you either need to get there immediately after opening or get your prayers in order, because once this plays fills up it seriously fills up. Worth trying time and time again though, without doubt.
