One of the most beautiful buildings in Cádiz, without a shadow of a doubt. The Gran Teatro Falla was built in the late 19th century on land that once supported the city’s original grand theatre, a building that had burnt to the ground not long before. The Falla is a stunning replacement and then some, a gorgeous Neo-Mudéjar building that is all red brick and shimmering elegance. The theatre is named after Manuel de Falla, the much-loved Spanish composer who was born in Cádiz towards the end of the 19th century. Keep an eye on the schedule and be sure to check out a show here if you get the chance.
