Carnivores take note. The illustrations of beef that adorn the walls, the menus and much else at Laci!Pecsenye? are not in jest. Indeed, they pride themselves on being a meat lover's paradise. They also offer up one of Budapest’s better value for money lunch experiences. You'd be hard pressed to prepare a lunch of such quality for under 3,000 HUF at home, but here you can enjoy two courses with coffee for as little as 2 450 HUF. The catch? You have take lunch between 2 and 3pm. The other catch is that since moving to its new location on Sas utca, something seems to have happened to service. You’d be advised to check your bill before leaving for example, to make sure that you don’t get charged for 2 dl of wine when you only ordered one.
