Think surfing on a wave right in the middle of Zurich sounds unreal? Well, think again! Urbansurf is a standing open-air wave pool right next to Hardbrücke train station in Zürich West. You can book sessions here and try to conquer the wave. There are also sessions for beginners and we are told it's easier to catch the wave than on the sea, as you don't need the same speed - but you still need to keep your balance (which wasn't easy for us, but then we are no surfers). If that all sounds too daring for you, you can just go there and watch the other surfers while having a beer, a drink or even a bite from the kitchen (burgers, soups and the like). Sometimes they even have DJ sessions and concerts. Hang loose!
