You didn’t think Bled Island would go without a souvenir shop did you? The shop doubles (or triples, more accurately) with a café and a gallery showcasing the artistic works of many Slovene artists including Miha Maleš. The shop is choc-full of traditional handicrafts and local products, twisted and turned into modern souvenirs. Nice t-shirts too. Far from the tacky trap it could be, it somehow manages to add an element of class to the tourist souvenir shop, which is an impressive feat. The café is the perfect place to relax before getting the boat back to shore. Relax with a coffee and a slice of potica, taking in your last views of the lake from the island before heading back.
