A castle has stood atop Grad Hill since the Middle Ages, hence its name ‘Castle' Hill. Steeped in history and natural beauty, the winding path through the mysterious forest leads visitors on a journey past the monument dedicated to Adolf Muhr, a previous owner of the Bled Castle Estate. Rising to a height of approximately 130 metres, the path to the summit is about 1 kilometre long, offering a moderate but rewarding hike. At the top, adventurers are greeted with a magnificent panoramic view of Lake Bled, the surrounding Julian Alps, and the charming town below, making the ascent well worth the effort for those seeking breathtaking vistas.
