The chocolate capital of the United Kingdom, without a doubt. Birmingham is home to Cadbury World, a museum and factory dedicated to everyone’s favourite sweet, a huge complex paying homage to the magical sugary food that has made us happy and done a serious number on our teeth in the process. The museum was opened in 1990 and is split into 14 zones, each using different technology to tell the story of chocolate and of Cadbury’s in particular, the two being joined at the hip. To get there, simply jump on a train from New Street and get off at Bournville, then follow the signs. Your soul will thank us later.
