It might be located a half hour train ride outside of Birmingham (get the train from New Street to Tipton), but the Black Country Living Museum (located in Dudley) is worth every single nano-second of that journey. This is hands-down one of our favourites museums in the UK, an open-air extravaganza of Black Country nostalgia that holds some of the best events in the region on a regular basis. Many of the buildings have been relocated from their original spots, adding a whole new authenticity to the BCLM. Much of ‘Peaky Blinders’ was filmed here and it isn’t tough to understand why.
