A massive structure just north of Potsdam’s New Garden, the Belvedere Castle was originally commissioned by King Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia, although the old romanticist had a much bigger plane envisioned for this part of the city. Located on the top of the Pfingstberg hill, the castle gives great views of the surrounding area and occasionally holds concerts. A gig in a castle on top of a hill? If that doesn’t get you excited, you need to check your pulse.
