The round structure near Checkpoint Charlie houses an incredibly detailed 60 by 15 metre panoramic painting of the Berlin Wall and its scruffy surroundings as it looked in the mid-1980s. Artist Yadegar Asisi has incorporated his personal experiences of the time and the everyday banality of the Wall with fascinating small scenes of life, on both sides of the divide.
