Even though Kafe 16 is in our 'Classic Cafés' category, it hides a story that makes it so much more than a classic cafe. 16 is a social company that helps children included in street work integrate into society, and has also created a support system for every child in peril. The shelter supports both children involved in street work and those that are at risk of becoming a part of it. They help educate the children over the age of 16 to start careers in bartending, which is where the name comes from. The cafe itself is pretty laid-back with colourful furniture and great music of various genres. The staff is as welcoming and nice as their idea of supporting this noble cause.
