Originally opened way back in 1910 in what was then the Hotel Petrograd (it's now known as the Belgrade City Hotel), countless others have come and gone, but Savamala remains more or less the same. Located on Savski Trg just opposite the main train station, the restaurant provides a fine dining experience without any pretension. The menu is a mix of traditional Serbian dishes and international standards (pasta, risotto, curry and chicken cordon bleu all make appearances), and the staff is used to dealing with foreign visitors.
