Delve deeper into Titanic's story with the help of the Public Record Office (PRONI) which holds thousands of files, volumes and documents that make up the 1861-1987 Harland & Wolff archive. PRONI is currently closed to the public but will respond to search requests. Its gleaming new Titanic Quarter building (see pic) opened to the public in April 2011.
Or spend a day at the Newspaper Library leafing through the original volume-bound newspapers from Titanic's era. Microfilm photocopies can also be made and kept as a unique souvenir of your visit. Visitors are dealt with on a first come, first served basis.
