West Belfast evolved as country people moved to the city to work in its 32 mills. Though many have gone, this imposing 19th century linen mill remains, and today houses artist studios, workshops and a variety market every Saturday under the glass roofed courtyard. It is also home to The Irish Republican History Museum which consists of artefacts and archive material collected from former prisoners. Mill Tours available.

Belfast Hi, just a few corrections. The name is not Conway Mill but The Mill, Conway Street and there is a Saturday variety market in the large glass roofed courtyard ever week. Thanks
