The West Belfast Taxi Association has been serving this side of the city since before the Troubles. The company has now branched out to include extremely popular city and NI taxi tours and airport pick-ups, as well as continuing its hop-on, hop-off community taxi service. For more info see West Belfast in our Sightseeing section.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Belfast. Our Guide John was a constant source of historical fact and and local knowledge. Our tour covered so much it is almost impossible to do it justice. John set the context of the tour by outlining the history of the conflict before bringing us to the famous murals of the 'International Wall'. We traveled the the peace walls and memorial gardens visited Crumlin Road Prison the unionist Shankill Road area. We were also shown a little private museum dedicated to the conflict which was amazing. I would recommend the Taxitrax over any other tour. Much more informative and intimate that other types of tours. We traveled as a small group - our guide became for over two hours a part of our group and we got a insight into Belfast that we would never have got anywhere else.

Thanks Taxitrax . Joe for the Tour and Brian for all his help with directions .Joe picked us up at St Georges Market and the tour began in his London Taxi on the way to the murals Joe pointed out the landmarks and then the murals and peacewalls bring your camera and listen as the guides bring you back in time when the city was in turmoil thanks Joe.

Took a Taxi tour with Taxi Trax and Terry was my Driver. Terry the Tour had a wealth of knowledge and understanding of Both side of the divide. We were able to see the Murals up close and personal. Not like the bus tours as they can’t drive into certain streets. We visited the Irish Republican Museum Which was free with the tour. This tour was very informative and would advise anybody wishing to see Belfast at its best to take this tour. Ask for Terry in the Taxi trax Office or look up west Belfast taxi association.

Thank you so much for a great tour, you explained it so well. We enjoyed our tour immensely, thank you for an objective view from both sides. Glad to hear from a driver who has lived through it, rather than from the media. Highly recommended. Thanks Taxitrax. David & Shannon Hartman. California. USA
