Belfast & Northern Ireland

Co. Tyrone's Clogher Valley and neighbouring townlands are embracing activity tourism by putting together a plethora of creative breaks and adventure sports.

Watercolour workshops with local artisit Dermot Cavanagh at his home in Moy and cookery schools at gracious Grange Lodge, Dungannon (chef Norah Brown is one of Rick Stein's food heroes) will appeal to creative souls.

But if you crave more adventurous pursuits, there's always horse riding with the experts from The Forest Stables, Fivemiletown or blindfold off-road driving (we kid you not) at Todd's Leap Activity Centre, Ballygawley.

These are just some of the diverse activities brought together as part of Flavour of Tyrone's impressive Learn2Tyrone activity breaks initiative.

Activity holidays offer groups of 10-15 people a range of weekend, mid-week or week-long pursuits so why not immerse yourself in the beautiful Tyrone landscape and stay for more than just one day.
