Each June, Belfast Rose Week boasts an abundance of blooms on display at this fantastic 48 hectare oasis. And, even if you miss this annual flowerfest, the vibrant display continues until the end of September.
The Park is a sweeping sea of rolling lawns and swaying trees, and a masterclass in floral landscaping. Its main building, 19th Century Wilmont House, was taken over by the Dixons in 1919 and bequeathed to the 'citizens of Belfast' by Lady Dixon upon her death in 1959.
Admission is free, so get down there and fill your senses with the heady aromas and kaleidoscopic colours of over 45,000 fabulous flowers.
