The Raven

You can’t beat a traditional old British boozer, we’ve said that time and time again, and The Raven fits the bill perfectly. A family-owned free house in the centre of the city, this is the result of two Georgian houses coming together on an old cobbled street to create a beer lover’s paradise, a homely place to spend the afternoon and a great spot for that most memorable of evenings. This is seriously old fashioned, so don’t expect wine, don’t expect TVs, don’t expect slot machines, but do expect some quality booze and plenty of stories.
