She may have only been 11 years old when she opened it, but it was the late great Princess Victoria who cut the proverbial ribbon for this tranquil park in town. It was the first park to be named after she-who-would-be-queen, and what a way to start. Verdant nature and colourful flowers abound with plenty of summertime activities found within, including a golf course and a few tennis courts. Be sure to check out the wooded area called the Great Dell, home to a great collection of truly bizarre trees.
