American Museum & Gardens

Located at Claverton Manor (three miles or so east of Bath), the American Museum & Gardens is another elegant addition to the verdant cultural roster of Bath. Founded by a couple of wealthy collectors, the museum is the only one outside of the USA to be dedicated to the decorative arts of that highly influential country. The museum is a celebrated of the finer parts of American culture, something often overlooked in the face of the pomp and circumstance. The gardens are rather delightful as well.
