A mixed bag, to say the least. We’ve been in the Harp and been the only soul there, sipping away at a Harp lager in the beer garden, wondering what we’re actually doing with our lives. We’ve also wandered in there on a Tuesday night and seen it full of students dressed like wasps and bees, so who knows. The Harp is a city centre pub with little in the way of pretence, the sort of place that attracts boozy students as much as it does hardened veterans of the scene, and the floor is every bit as sticky as we expect from the floor of a dive bar. There is also a Sunday Carvery, which kinda rules.
