The railway station in the village of Llanfairpwll is one of the great curiosities of Wales, a gimmick-heavy spot that was the brainchild of a Victorian tailor and one that has survived all the way to the modern age. There isn’t much here other than the various signs, all of which are immensely photogenic and will keep your head spinning for hours on end. The station is easily accessed from Bangor, but do keep an eye on the schedule lest you get stuck in what is essentially a very small village with a very long name.
