While you are in Varna, you should enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. Despite being the smallest natural park in Bulgaria, Golden Sands Natural park located 17 km outside the ciry and is considered one of the most picturesque in Bulgaria with its rich biological and landscape diversity. It is covered with natural deciduous forests consisting of various types of oak species including moss-capped oak, Hungarian oak, swamp white oak, and hornbeam. The park has a rich number of locally sourced drinking fountains. There are five special and five tourist routes for tourists and nature lovers.
