There have been gardens on this site for centuries. Formally the Royal Gardens, it became the Botanical Gardens in 1845. Located in a gorge below Narikala Fortress with a river tumbling through it that divides its 128 hectares and its displays of 4500 species of flora from Georgia and around the World. The entrance located at the end of Botanikuri Street.
