One of Saba's greatest attractions is its short runway at the airport, which is guaranteed to inspire awe, if not terror, in anyone landing here, especially since both ends of the runway are punctuated by a sharp drop from cliffs into the sea. Despite this curious piece of infrastructure, there have been no major accidents at the airport and the superb pilots often use only half of the runway. The terminal building houses the offices of Winair, the only airline which operates daily flights. Immigration and security, a fire department and the control tower are also located here as well as a small canteen offering beverages and snacks. An ATM machine is available just outside the building.
