Olomouc is surrounded by beautiful towns and villages, not all of which are easily accessible by bus. Renting a car is always a good option, and Olomouc has a number of offices throughout town where visitors can do just that. Avis and Sixt have locations in town, with plenty of smaller companies around as well.
