Sycamore

We usually wouldn’t label accommodation with only two rooms as a hotel, but we'll gladly make an exception for charming Sycamore. This historic art nouveau mansion built in 1908 is run by Jos, a friendly host who makes every guest feel like a member of the family. Both rooms are wonderfully decorated with matching interiors equipped with all of the amenities you could possibly imagine not to mention Nespresso machines, fireplaces and wine cabinets. And if you're curious why its named after a tree, just look at the stately avenue outside that's lined with dozens of sycamores covered in sticky, green buds. The secluded garden is yet another asset of the hotel and the city's highlights are within easy walking distance.
