One of the largest collections of art in the north of England, the Walker Art Gallery is one of the premier galleries in this part of the country, not to mention one of the most popular. This is the central art gallery in Liverpool and one fully deserving of the title, home as it is to some of the best modern art and sculpture that Britain has produced. It also happens to be immensely child-friendly, and is a fine place to get young ones introduced to the fine stuff.
