There was a time when the lambananas could be found all over Liverpool, but the modern day sees their number dwindled to one super version of the potassium-heavy sheep. A bright yellow beaut found in front of the Avril Robarts Library of John Moore’s, the sculpture is as much a warning of the potential horrors of genetic engineering as it is a nod to the shipping history of the city. It also looks pretty excellent in photographs.
