Put simply, Liverpool ONE changed the game. Opened in 2008, this shopping, leisure and residential complex was the final nail in the coffin of the tired old shopping centres around town and the catalyst for a new focus on the future of Liverpool’s city centre, and boy has it been a success. Masses of shops, bars, restaurants and more fill the central spot, an area of town that is teeming from early in the morning until way, way into the night. Liverpool ONE is split into six districts, but you’re better off just wandering around as opposed to getting caught up in planning. Shop, then eat, then shop some more, then drink.
