Found in the hotel of the same name, Dixie Dean takes its moniker from the legendary Everton striker who seemed to have a head made out of concrete. Dean’s grit gives way to glamour and glitz in the modern age though, and the hotel’s restaurant is one of the most alluring culinary spots in town. British cuisine dominates the menu, with a knowing nod in the direction of old fashioned Scouse dishes. Excellent stuff.
