This tiny little house, just outside the Porta Soprana and only steps away from the beautiful cloister of Saint Andrew, is apparently the very one where Christopher Columbus was born. Debate rages as to whether this is true or not with valid arguments on both sides. In any case the tiny museum contains surviving documents that seem to prove the illustrious navigator at least lived there from 1455-1470. It’s pretty from the outside and contains some interesting artefacts inside too.
