If there is a Great Reformed Church, it only makes sense for a small version to exist elsewhere in the city, right? You don’t have to travel far from the big to the small in Debrecen, and the Small Reformed Church sits halfway up Piac utca in the city’s main square. The original was constructed in the 17th century, but a mixture of time, storms and fire saw it replaced on numerous occasions. Known informally as the Truncated Church, of particularly interest is the bizarrely-modern clock face. Visits are available throughout the summer, although don’t try and enter on a Sunday.
