Located on the far western outskirts of Curacao, Rancho El Sobrino is one of the better restaurants on Westpunt. The name already hints at its Western theme that includes American hats and other playful decorative touches covering its walls. Burgers and fajitas seem to be your best bet when dining here, but many of the regulars swear by the catch of the day. If it's still not kitschy enough for your tastes the singing and serving 'cowboy' will convince probably you that this giant open-air palapa is worth a try. If, however, you're looking for something different, the Dominican chef has got that covered too. Faded black and white photographs on the walls transport you back to a time when Westpunt really was the end of the world.
