Not far from famous Mambo Beach, lies the relatively unknown Atlanta Beach Hotel. Built in the shape of a stranded ship, this is one of the cheapest hotels on the island, but unlike most of its competitors, it offers a really great value for the money. All 10 modestly sized rooms are clean and equipped with bathrooms, AC, TVs, safes, WI-FI and fridges and coffee makers can be hired separately. If you enjoy amazing sea views take the stairs up to the rooms on the second floor. A huge continental breakfast is included in the price and we really appreciated the young owners' going out of their way to make us feel at home in this cosy place. Downtown Willemstad is just a 10-minute bus ride away.
