If you’ve got a craving for authentic Chinese and Cantonese cuisine on Bonaire, visit Great China. Although the name is tacky and unoriginal, the properly seasoned food is much less predictable, especially the tasty and equally unimaginatively named Chinese soup. Don’t expect much ambience inside as Great China isn't much larger than a small bar with no more than a couple of tables with plastic tablecloths and some outdated Chinese lamps. Here it's all about the food and you'll be pleased to know that it has been run by the same people for nearly three decades, a positive sign in a hospitality market that seems to change each day with the setting of the sun.
