Bonaire is accessible via direct flights from the US and Europe. Europeans will have to take a nine-hour flight from Amsterdam, while American citizens can choose to depart from Newark, Houston, Atlanta or Miami. Island hopping to the other two nearby islands of Curacao and Aruba is also possible. Although there are eight different airlines that fly to Bonaire, none offer direct flights to South America.
