If you don't think that Arubans know how to throw a party, then put your dancing shoes on and head down to the outdoor courtyard of Fort Zoutman on any Tuesday evening. The so-called Bonbini Festival (meaning 'welcome' in the local language) brings tourists and locals together in Aruba's oldest building. Live music and homemade food are the main ingredients of this year-round folk event and the colourful dancers in their resplendent costumes are a feast for the eyes.
