Although we grew up on the finest oversized pies New York and New Jersey had to offer, that doesn’t mean that we don’t appreciate authentic Italian-style thin crust pizzas like the ones baked in Sotto’s genuine wood-fired oven. They are actually quite delicious and best appreciated with a glass of wine or a cold beer. If you’re not that hungry you can also just order some tiramisu or a brownie and wash it down with a macchiato or even a Sambuca. The interior is a simple blend of exposed brick and wooden floors, but one can’t help but notice the enormous pizza oven and the stacked firewood in the open-plan kitchen.
