Take a ferry tour on the River IJ through Amsterdam Noord that begins at the ferry terminal at the Central Station. The boat tour takes about 1.5 hours and is available every Sunday during the summer months. On deck you can enjoy a cup of coffee while viewing the northern part of the Dutch capital. A few Sundays a year, you can also sail to Pampus Island in the IJsselmeer and it's also possible to rent the whole ship.
