If we had to judge this café only by its design, its location and the food served, we would certainly call it a pleasant enough place for both lunch and dinner. However, when one takes into account the atrocious service at Grand Café Sloterplas, we can hardly recommend the place. Wait staff don't seem interested in performing their tasks and even appear to be rather annoyed by customers in general. Moments of friendliness are unfortunately also scarce, which is a crime as the Mediterranean dishes are actually quite good and the sunny terrace next to Sloterplas Lake is excellent.
