At the end of the pier between dozens of fishing boats at the Oudeschans harbour, you'll find this warm and cosy place that's perfect for a hearty meal or a tasty pint of beer. If you're lucky, you might also observe local fishermen trying to outdo one another with tall tales of the treacherous sea over drinks, but in the evenings De Kombuis turns into a popular hot spot for youngsters. The surrounding terrace is also a good place to enjoy simple bar food like a satay or a burger on a sunny day. The interior is a mix of football paraphernalia and music memorabilia, although sadly the owner's love for the Rolling Stones isn't reflected in the easy listening tunes that usually dominate the bar area.
